Palliative For Federal Civil Servants 2024

The Federal Government has approved a minimum wage of 35k palliative for federal civil servants, covering all federal government workers. President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has announced plans to settle the outstanding total payment of N35,000 for workers.

The palliative will last for three months for households and six months for civil servants. This move comes amid growing concerns over delayed compensation for federal civil servants.

The palliative wage of N35,000 was only paid for two months in 2023. The payment was expected to continue earlier this year.

The Office of the Accounting General of the Federation director, who spoke anonymously, said that the committee working on the ₦35,000 palliative wage award is still putting the finishing touches to the modalities for payment.

Responding to the situation, the office of the Accountant General of the Federation has assured Federal civil servants that their wage awards are imminent and will be disbursed promptly once logistical arrangements are finalized.

The Federal Government has started paying 35k palliative wages Allowance to Federal Government workers as promised by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

The Federal Government has also introduced the Renewed Hope CCT Payment, which amounts to 25k for three months. The payment is processed through the Tinubu Palliative Registration Portal.
